Generally the connector to the buzzer is a simple plug... Just feel around under the dash while it's on until you can find it (or stick your head in there... on my car I could actually feel the speaker buzzing so it was easy to find).Comment

What year, make and model is the vechile? Send me an e-mail with your car info (including engine) and I'll see what I have. I have piles and piles of information on this subject, but its very disorganized.
Some new vechiles have seatbelt dingers that are intended to annoy you into complaince, that is, they intentionally are set to never turn off and they very often extremely hard to disable by design. Not as simple as cutting a wire or unplugging the buzzer anymore. In my Lincoln you push on the emergency brake then connect then disconnect the seat belt and wait until the alarm sounds. After it sounds you have to connect and disconnect the seat belt 10 times.
After the 10th time you wait one minute then connect and disconnect it again.
This shuts that fucking alarm off but you have to do it for each seat
The instructions are in the book BTW !
