Ya about that, seems that we are having a problem with our webserver. Our customer are not effected by the issues however. And our site should be up and running in just a few seconds.

Seems that a NIC card when bad in one of the servers that our site is hosted on. Figures I would post something about website hosting, and my own fucking site goes down.

Never looks good, but it does happen.

Well that is nice for you. But we are far from a second rate reseller. My servers are hosted in verio, as well as Telx 60 Hudson. On my own cisco 7206 I have GigE connections with Level3, Verio, BTN, Savvis, and Cogent. As far as I can tell our provider is just colo'ed with someone, and using their bandwidth.

Also when I did a traceroute to your provider, it would seem that he is not located in the states, which my network is. Currently we operate data center space out of 60 Hudson NYC, Scranton, PA. Dallas, Tx. and Tampa Fl.

Also during that traceroute, I was getting round trip ping times of well over 250ms. With our SLA on my network you will never be higher that 79ms, and that is at peak times.

So I am happy that your provider offer service with more option. At least I know that when a client hosts with me, they have the best possible connection to the internet, with good strong servers and support to back it all up.

BTW, we had a complete failure on my corperate webserver, just as I posted this thread. Our site was back up and running in less that 5 minutes at a different data center. That is our content network product call liquidmatrix. It woulded like a charm!

Yep, but I don't think of this as spam. I don't do more than 1 offer a week, and if you don't want the service, you don't have to read about it. Still something about the offer had to bring you in didn't it.
