I've been watching off and on on AMC Wallstreet. I like a lot of the lines and insider trading that the movie portrays. I find it ironic that we had all these day traders in a bull market and they left in the Bear market. In the movie they say that a true Stock Player is one who makes a lot of money in the Bull Market. But still makes the right moves and money in the Bear Market.
Wasn't this movie made in the late 80's??

WallStreet is one of my all time fav's too; I saw it when I was 14. I went with my friend and his pops who was a bigtime bond trader; the first time I had ever taken a drive in a porsche(928 s4)

i knew a few ppl who traded during the recent bull market. they thought they were trading gods. haven't seen em around lately, maybe they had to sell their pc to pay the rent lol

You can still make tons of money in the markets day trading. Just buy stocks on an ecn like island or from one of the market makers for less then the trading price on the others(nasdaq) and dump it right away; it happens all day everyday.

You've gotta love them etrade and td waterhouse day traders :D
