For those of you who don't do your own yardwork, how much do you pay your gardeners to mow, edge, and keep the yards looking nice? Average sized front and back yard in SoCal.

$20 a week which I guess is on the high side for Costa Rica except he also has to pick up after 3 Rottweilers.

I find a gardener, make them do all the work for a month and promise them $100 a week. Then when it comes time to pay them I pick up the phone and act like I?m calling the INS and watch them scurry off like cockroaches. Man I love free labor.
