multi site memberships reason for bad conversions

Do you guys think that one of bigger reasons for dropping conversions is multi site memberships?

Now a days if you sell one site you are actually selling 10 sites at once. Good luck trying to sell the surfer the other 9 sites when he has already seen them. Even when a sponsor comes out with a new site doesn't mean it's new to surfers who buy memberships. The site is only new to you. You could have been selling site abc.com for several months and your surfers who joined site abc.om have been getting access to the beta site for the past 6 months.

I think it improve conversion. For the same money, surfers get access not only to the site they wanted to see but also alot of other sites. What I hate tho, is sponsors that a bunch of sites (tours really) with just one member area for all the sites with little content per site (niche).

let's say you own a tgp, if you sell a surfer a membership to "Reality site 1" then he also gets access to "reality sites 2,3,4,5,6,7,8"

in that case you can't sell a membership for that particular sponsor another site anymore, because the surfer joined already all of them

EDIT: sorry, I should have read the original post more carefully, I basically repeated it

Really sucks when they start giving away similar niche sites in a package.

But most surfers pay for only 1 site at one time. I know some pay for several sites every month, but how many? 5%? So they join one site, get access to 10 others for example. Few months later, they like a girl on one of the other sites, so they join again. And by then, they know the paysite offers access to all the other sites as well and are not afraid to join.

btw it helps rebills a lot

I find on some of my sites that sponsors get stale and need to be rotated out. Maybe this is part of the reason.

one of the main reason to my mind is low quality content . . you've seen it right here at GFY, remember when the program put up those pics of those models that looked like cracked out bar skanks when they skinned the page? and whom ever designed that thought is was perfectly fine. that's what so fucking amazing to me . . these are the people building tours too I would assume . . most of the tours I see the models are shot so poorly and so fugly it's amazing anyone would join . . the suffer is getting educated. . there is enough stuff out there now that seeing a dick sticking some models ass is not enough anymore. . . that and tours showing HQ content that is not on the site . .

I'd have to agree with that for PPS sponsors, but for revshare sponsors with half decent members areas, I think it helps rebills.

I think some sponsors are just getting tricky with their designs. A while ago, alot of paysites gave a 401 error for "MEMBERS AREA" type links on the tour. Now they are redirected to either a different site, or the same with a different affiliate id. Or, the members area link just goes to a members login form with a link above, below, or around this form that says something like, 'Need a membership, CLICK HERE' or something similar.
Then on top of all that, the MEMBERS button on all these tours keep getting bigger and bigger, and is usually one of the very first clickable links on the tour.
