$500 Logo Contest - Gangster Movie - GoFuckYourself.com

DEADLINE SUNDAY OCT. 22

"TOWNIES" seeks a movie logo for our movie site and promo material. Townies is an ultra-low budget Irish gangster movie which begins production in November in Boston, Massachusetts.

Here is our movie site and current logo:

Our original logo had a bullet ripping through TOWNIES and exiting the "S", but it was not print friendly (too many colors).

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must read "TOWNIES" (all capitals), also "Live By The Gun And Die By The Gun" (registered trade mark, all caps or upper and lower).
You can include "A Mike O'Dea Film" or "A Mike O'Dea Picture" (any cases). It is not required but it would be nice to see that fit in somewhere without making the logo look to "busy".

2. 1 or 2 colors maximum (print friendly).

3. No bevel fonts.

4. Implement sometype of weapon or something gangster/Irish related into the logo (gun, bullet holes, knife, brass knuckles, Celtic Cross, Celtic Knot, clover etc).

5. Full exclusve rights and PSD file.

6. Post your Townies logo designs in this thread only.

AWARD:
The winner will receive $500 via paypal from Shamrock Films on the deadline date. If we do not feel that any of the logos are what
we are looking for the logo designer with the best Townies logo will receive $150, but we will not use the logo anywhere.
*** The winner's name will also appear in the closing credits of the film.

Townies is known all over the world from a grassroots marketing campaign that began in 2004. Either MIckey Rourke or Harvey Keitel will act in the supporting role as the mob boss in order to achieve theatrical release.

my username is XSTER with I believe over 1000 posts. I've been a member for years and was in the business before getting into movie. I realize your point. For some reason I couldn't post under Xster, maybe because I haven't been around in a while, so I created a new account. I'm sure some people here can vouche for me.
