I'm still looking for a royal straight flush. Got one in video poker once, but I think it was rigged.

Queen high flush beats a Jack high flush

This thread is starting to really shock me

Here I thought I was a GOOD poker player...but really I think that there are just some really bad players out there

You're still totally missing the point of kickers and how important they are in the game. May as well play 'snap' if you want to remove their value in the game.

Clearly I'm wrong, because I know pokerroom isn't .

Oh well I usually dont lose in poker that much.

Yup ....I hate when that happens

Seems to me that Player 1 should have raised enough to push out hands like 10 4....

But if he did raise, and player 2 called w/ his rags, then I guess this is a perfect example Good news/Bad news

Pots are ONLY split when the best 5 cards are IDENTICAL from all (both) players.

Uproared,

One important note I must point out to you regarding the question above. Two Players can NEVER have the "nut flush". In the example above, neither player has the nut flush. The nut flush in the example above would be the player holding the 2 of hearts / 3 of hearts. The second higher flush in the above example would be any player holding the K of hearts and any
other heart.

Actually in this example there is no "nut flush"
There is a straight flush possible, and that is the "nuts"
Then there are possible quad 4's, then pocket aces for the highest possible full house.
After the full houses the Kx of hearts would win.

10 times a week I hear poker dealers say "nut flush" when someone turns over Ax of a suit on the river....even though the board is paired and/or there is a straight flush possible.
In that case there is no "nut flush"
