LOL: Democrats are loosing it ....

.. looks like they also caught the disease .....

Washington D.C (AHN) - A Democratic political ad is gathering criticism from Hispanics as well as party members, saying it unfairly equates Latino immigrants to terrorists like Osama Bin Laden. The 35-second ad put up by Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee shows footage of two people scaling a border fence mixed with images of Osama Bin Laden, scenes from terrorist attacks on America, a man with bazooka, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and North Korean President Kim Jong II.

Pedro Celis, chairman of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, said in a statement Tuesday that the DSCC should remove the ad because it denigrates emotions of several thousands of illegal Hispanic immigrants and is "appalling."

The ad is also garnering disapproval from some Democrats. Houston City Councilwoman Carol Alvarado, a Democrat, in a letter urged DSCC Chairman Sen. Charles Schumer to pull the ad warning that it could alienate Latino voters.

"To liken Latino immigrants to bazooka-toting terrorists not only undermines the positive relationship our party has with this community, but also lowers us to a despicable level as breeders of unfounded fear and hatred," Alvarado wrote.

The ad aimed at criticizing current security of the country under Bush administration opens with the words: "Security Under Bush and GOP?"

The ad then features scenes of a masked man with a bazooka, scenes from terrorist attacks and police inspecting a subway train, images of Osama Bin Laden, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a docked ship claiming "4 times as many terrorist attacks in 2005," and two people scaling a fence while the screen flash the words "millions more illegal immigrants."

When it comes to political mudslinging, Democrats and Republicans are all alike. This time it's the Dem, next time it will be the GOP. These spinmeisters know no boundaries.

Sounds to me like it's an ad about poor homeland security in general.

Sounds also like they could have done it much better. The message is ok taken as a whole. The WAY the message was given seems to be the issue. Which is normal for every political ad ever made I think? They all suck!

"swift boat veterans for truth" lmao..
