Keep CS ;) It opens an extra port on your computer and allows me to get into your system and steal your information. WHITE FAT BALD AMERICAN LOSER. :1orglaugh |

Can't stand the CS. What a piece of shit Adobe came up with. They were able to keep it real for all those 11 versions before but now they've really ruined it.

Actually I have a pretty good tan (pool in backyard) I am in excellent shape, I have hair to my shoulders, I am in America by choice since not being a loser I have the resources to live anywhere. (Webby does tempt my looking at CR) So how was your day and why the anger over cheap upgrades that most use to keep current in their professional fields? . |

The graphic interface involved, there are a couple new filters if I'm not mistaken. new cropping tools for images etc etc. Quote:

That goes for programming languages and various tech in the online world. And as far as CS opening a big bad hole in my comp : 1st : I got my windows firewall on by default, and I don't let it connect 2nd : I couldn't care less. I've had maybe one virus and no hackers attact on my personal computer in my whole life. And I couldn't care less if they log onto my comp wich is highly unlikely. |

I really liked PS 6 and 7, but decided it was easier to use CS2 with OSX (I use Macs almost exclusively). Since I like to work in ImageReady, it is a bit of a pain in the ass when I have to switch to Photoshop for some of the tools, and then back again, but whatever...
BTW, have you used Adobe Bridge yet? Great for batch processing! Easy to learn, makes editing a breeze, and works with Raw images too. :thumbsup ADG Webmaster |

Thanks for all the replies folks. I just bought CS2 but I think I'll keep PS7 as well. I know PS7 inside-n-out so I might have to rely on it for a while until I get the hang of CS2. There are some new bad-ass image plugins that I want and they don't work with PS7 so that was the deciding factor in purchasing CS2. Otherwise, I'd just keep my trust PS7 and make due. I bought a brand new (never opened) boxed CS2 on eBay for $280 - not bad huh???

ps7 does all I need it to do for now ;)

Our web designers and graphic artists uses CS2 :)

I use Photoshop 7 personally. I have CS2, I have used it, but to be perfectly honest it's still buggy and pissy enough to really screw up my workflow. Several projects I had to start from the beginning because cs2 died and took my current psd along with it. I got sick and tired of the bs so I stick with Photoshop7.
