    Just switched to the Motorola Q.

    I had Cingular and the Treo 650. Loved it, but the Treo phone quality left a lot to be desired in the first place and now Cingular is having issues in Orange County. Apparently some towers are down and they do not have any date of resolve on the issue.

    I get barely any Cingular service on my way home or at my home.

    So far, I love the Q. I miss the stylus, but the phone quality is by far superior to the treo and surfing the web is unbelievable fast. The browser does a good job in constraining non-mobile sites.

    It has push technology. Everything just seems really clean on it.

    And the biggest thing of all, it syncs with my Macintosh laptop without any problems at all.

    Only thing I am not thrilled with is that Verizon apparently will not work outside of the US. They apparently have to mail you a temp phone for that. With my Cingular Treo, no matter where I got off the plane, I had service.

      Nice phone! How do you sync it with your mac? Bluetooth?

          I tried out the blackberry and it never would sync. So I anticipated issues.

          However, I read an article.

          All you need is a copy of Missing Sync for Windows Mobile. It cost $40. Your mac needs to be updated with 10.4.7.

          Then you use the active sync on the phone, and it is so smooth. Not sure how much syncing you do with the mac, but if you do a lot, you know the phone syncing is limited and in some cases, not possible.

          This sync is awesome. It syncs fully.

                  $200 with a 2 year.

                  And now they have a deal that the extended battery (which makes the phone slightly thicker at the base) is $20, instead of $60.
