    who understands yahoo email here?

    how come some yahoo email acts use a different server to send than others?? like some use the re3.yahoo.com
    while some use the mail.mud.yahoo.com

      and its not based on traffic because the same ones always use the mud while the same ones use the re3

                It could be something to do with the age of the account. I've always had a talk21.com account, and a year or so ago BT (former owners of Talk21) merged it with Yahoo! to offer an e-mail service, so it could be something to do with that.
