Keeps trying to "Auto Config" every friggin 10 seconds or so. Displays the gray box on the screen. Anyone else ever see this issue and resolve it?
Thanks! JM

That sucks, I had a flat screen do that once on a certain video card, but i can't recall what it was so i'm not much help there.
Did you do a search to see if there is some sort of a fix or if anyone else has reported the same issue yet?

Edge, ACER monitor, 19" flatscreen.
Greg, It's an ATI card, didn't do this on my nVidia before so perhaps a quirk with the card or driver. Searched around, nothing came up that really matches what's going on. Thanks for the input.

1. Is it a new monitor? If not, when did this start (after any changes to the system)? 2. What are your System's specs (if you know)? 3. Which ATI card do you have?

1. No, about a year old if that. Started happening about 3 days or so ago, nothing changed in the system.
2. Pentium D 2.79Ghz, 3 gig RAM, 160 gig SATA 3. ATI Radeon X600 256MB Hypermemory

It started happening without any changes to the system? That's odd. You may want to try uninstalling/reinstalling the softwaree and drivers that came with the monitor. If that doesn't work, you may want to try updating/reinstalling your ATI drivers or upgrading to Omega drivers for your ATI card.
