I made the mistake of wasting $4,000 on the "Select Comfort" bed.
At first they are DAMN comfortable. But give it 4 or 5 months and it becomes the most uncomfortable piece of shit ever.
Sooooo Tempur-Pedic is next on my list to try.
Let us know how you like it after a few months. I'd love to hear.

lets just put it this way, when you're sleeping on one of those its not as easy to just wake up and get out of bed as it used to be
its way too comfortable, worth every penny
i figure, i spend about 30% of my life in bed & 30% in a chair... cant be cheap there

I have the one with adjustable frame which is GREAT and the vibrating massage feature is THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also own the Tempur Pedic slippers and bought all my close friends a pair for B-Days and XMAS and they ALL loved them!
Almost went into the Tempur Pedic bed business after I bought it.
Thought about doing a promo one year at Internext. I was going to bring one out onto the showroom floor AS my booth and wear PJ's, a robe and slippers and it was going to be the "Get in bed with J$TYLE$ and TheContentStore.com" PROMO!

I love mine, but it takes some getting use to. The first few days sleeping on it i actually woke up hurting real bad, my body wasnt use to the support it gives. But let me tell you this thing is better than sex (well close) just make sure you keep it warm in the winter or it becomes a very hard.Comment

OK ..just woke up .. I'm having my coffee and this is how it went ...
I feel great ..I used to wake up with a very tight feeling in my lower back but today nothing. my hips do feel a bit sore (i sleep on my side) due to the stiff support. I know that will go away. over all it was a great sleep. the covers hardly moved so i guess it's try that you toss and turn less.
$tyles .. i love the promo ..and i didn't know they had a vibrating massage feature .... I missed out

had mine for almost 5 years now, even if you don't get a great night sleep all the time, it's the best chick magnet I've owned, as soon as they touch the bed they don't want to get out.
My only complaint is it sucks all the heat out of you and you wake up hot as hell, they need a refrigerant built into em.. seriously.

Lenny2 and I thought about buying one until we tested out a Scandinavian Foam Mattress - the Valhalla - by May & Company. It has the same type of material that a Tempur-Pedic bed has but only as the top layer. The bottom layer is similar to that of a regular mattress, only better quality. We've had it for almost a year and love it.
