Dear PlatinumBucks EpicCash PornKings Ragecash Python. Why do you support Ransomware?

Apprently you guys promote moviepass.tv... Why?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

http://antivirus.about.com/od/virusd...ransomware.htm

Victims complain that MoviePass.tv (also known as MovieLand.com and MediaPipe) installs itself without their knowledge and displays intrusive pop-ups demanding a $99 licensing fee.

According to those who have encountered MoviePass.tv on their systems, there is no single uninstall entry in Add/Remove Programs and the terms of the licensing agreement expressly prohibits uninstalling the software. Instead, posters to various self-help forums across the Internet maintain that victims must follow a specific set of MoviePass.tv removal instructions in order to fully remove the program and stop the incessant pop-ups.

How about you check into it and post a public response since platinumbucks has been linked to ransomware in a public post.

You know, the entire board of the companies that pull this bullshit should be lined up against a wall and machine gunned. I always love it when some POS nastyware makes it to my PC and I have to spend hours trying to get rid of it.

I'm surprised at the RageCash guy given he was all over Guba.. Guess ethics go only so far as the wallet.

There are plenty of programs that are clean that convert and make money as well.

If the few programs mentioned in this thread were the only ones available to affiliates then I'd have a problem.... but that's not the case.

I will never in all good concience support any program that is promoting the kind of shit mentioned on the board tonight.

This is enough for me to back away from any program and not promote it.

He was on the board and saw the threads... the issue is public and needs a public response especially since they were included as part of the RansomWare program announcement.

some of us do sleep.

i checked it out as did some others in the company and found nothing malicious. we'll go back to it today and read all the threads about it.

i am not for anything that ransoms you and would discontinue my associations immediately if this is in fact the case.

for you to assume ethical standpoints based on the time it takes to respond to an allegation on a message board is just not reasonable.

i will post my response to this after i have done thorough evaluation in the short future.

don't assume you understand my ethics please.

It sounds like this is a little deeper than just installing and then removing. Leave it on your pc for 4 or 5 days.

from the looks of the articles and all those complaints theres more to it than i saw. that being said. how many never found the places to complain and make their problems public?

basically, i asked the questions that i needed to ask when we got into the deal. i specifically asked what it did and downloaded and uninstalled. everything was fine, no flags. i guess i shoulda left it on the machine for the entire 3 days. so be it, shoot me dead, i'm not a programmer.

i've read everything i could find on this and at this point we're done with it. legal or not, its not our style.

now...for the entire community.

i've seen enough to where i don't want anything to do with it anymore. i am here to protect nobody, fuck all that. people can come in with their political ways to say stuff if they want. i asked the questions and did the tests i needed to when i first set this up and everything checked out.

i have contacted no one at WD. i have several people that i trust technically tearing it apart to find out exactly what it does instead of what i was told.

i'm not doing this for anyone here. i'm doing this for the surfers.

this place makes me sick sometimes. people need to look for front page stories elsewhere, instead of ASSuming that people are doing something under the radar. not knowing something is called ignorance, not conspiracy. naivety is not intent.

i'm done with this. all of it. go look for yourselves. there will never be another download on our network, ever. set your clocks to it.

peace.

can't blame programs for wanting to take advantage of a legal opportunity. shit, most of us did when dialers first came out. the end user got fucked then but still, ransomware, lol thats a new one.

is it just me or does it seem like programs are alienating webmasters slowly? it seems like almost every day someone is posting about a program fucking with cookies or leaks or shady stats reporting. i guess this is nothing really new but a lot of the tactics seem to have moved over to fucking the webmaster since they can't get away with fucking the surfer anymore. maybe its just my cynical view of it all.

I really hate this type of software, almost as much as I hate spam. So as the info was coming out, seeing you post a thumbsup fueled the flame and I did something I don't usually do and I posted something inflamatory to try and goad you into action... It was out of line and I appologise for it.

We all should have had a good look at the ad links they posted in their thread though as it's very clear on them...

I must really be under your skin for you to go off like this when I didn't even bump the thread... Guess the fact that the company you work for is scum makes you overly sensitive.

"i have barely seen your ass"

Workin hard at expanding my empire... which doesn't promote anything epictrash has to offer...

"what the fuck is it that YOU do in this industry"

I run multiple sites that promote programs like yours.. I've been doing this 100% full time for 5+ years now... Self employeed, my own boss... Unlike you who are just an employee who does as he's told...

Go back to kissing pimpdogs ass..

Before you say anything, I'm not an Epic Cash hater. I love your program and send sales every week. I also submit to your linklists.

Supporting this program, especially after lawsuits brought on by the FTC and the Attorney General of WA, makes your program look bad. I (and many others) can look past the board drama brought on by JTF and PD because I know it's all bullshit and meaningless. But this is different... here, you're actually supporting scumware and making money off of it.

I know it might not mean anything to you, but it's making me seriously consider pulling all my Epic Cash links just like I pulled all my AFF stuff a while back. Actions speak much louder than words, Jim, and you know that.
