I think the truely sad thing here is that people today are so cynical and untrusting that many of them do really belive that the terrorist threat situation is being manipulated by governments for their own cynical ends.

When you look at all the lies and bullshit tricks goverments have used that has been exposed over the years it isn't hard to understand why many people don't trust their governments further than they can piss anymore.

I used to know people that were into animal rights and supported the ALF and talked about burning up meat factories and smashing butchers and stuff! But they never actually did much (as far as I know) They were just young and pissed off I guess in the same way muslim kids are about Iraq and other things going on.
