Just found a Scolopendra heros arizonensis
on the front porch.
 I have been living in Jerome AZ since late 98 and seen these nasty bugs from very small up to full grown size of about 8 inchs. These things really scare me. They are fast and the colors just look like it could Kill you. Of course the Urban Ledgen that goes with them is HUGE too. I thought living in Az the scary stuff was only the Rattle Snake and Black Widows and Scorpions etc..... However never saw one of these until I came up to Jerome. In Phoenix I seen all the others..........Yes including the O'so Scary Black Widow.
