The History Of The Woman In GFY's Logo: Results Of My Extensive Research - GoFuckYourself.com

We've all seen her. We all know her. We all love her.

She's the crazy woman in GFY's Logo! But who is she and where did she come from? Not even TexasDreams had a copy of the original image that the logo was made from.

I set out to find the answers, and here are the results of my research:

The photo was taken by famous photographer George Marks, and is part of the "Hulton Archive". The Hulton Archive Picture Collection is the descendant of the press library established in 1947 by Edward Hulton.

The model's name is Susan and this photo of her dates to 1954.

FYI: I spent $150 to license rights to post this rights-managed photo here for a period of 3 months. After that time I am legally required to delete it.

FYI Again: Since I spent $150 to license this photo so I could post it here, I'm going to be bumping the living daylights out of this thread. A gurl's got to get her money's worth!

The image can be licensed indefinately as well. Also, I think it's available as part of other collections as a royalty-free image if it's used at lower resolutions, which the GFY logo would count as.

I found out that Adult.com had bought a perpetual license to that image years ago before it was acquired by Getty Images. We even have the full image with her elbows not cropped out.
