Its unfortunate that one has to watch their drinks so closely when they're out having a good time.

I have a friend that was at a college party a couple years ago and somebody drugged her. She totally flipped out, started running around the room, and would only speak in Spanish (Spanish was her second language). She ended up running into a door and popping a vein in her eye. She had a black eye for quite some time and it took well over a month for her eye to start working properly again. Campus police ended up charging her and she got stuck with 6 months in therapy. Funny how that happens.

I can see why somebody would drug a girl to get in her pants (obviously I'm not condoning that), but what possible reason does somebody have to drug another that they have no intention of taking advantage of? What is the motive? Just doesn't make sense. Strange people are among us. I wonder how many GFYers think "roofies" are "cool".

i know several occasions like this. My friend had the same reaction after i cup of beer. WE resumed it is some kind of demidrol - medicine that people use as drug in big quantity.

Yeah, this was indeed very disturbing and I hope Rey Rey is feeling better.

Lisa and I went to the bar inside where people were dancing and this big European guy comes up to us, asking if we wanted his Long Island Iced Tea because he didn't like it. I didn't really understand any of the other words, but was immediately thinking Roofies. I politely declined, giving the guy the benefit of the doubt.

About 10 minutes later, he approaches a group of 4 guys and says the same thing. The situation became totally uncomfortable, so I said to Lisa, lets get out of here. After he the group of guys said no, they big Euro guy would go back to his friend and say something with a smirk.

I then informed one of the employees that the guy was offering his drink to multiple people. The situation didn't feel right.

Anyways, I doubt the 2 incidents are related, but it was weird because when I went back to inform Rey Rey, he said his stomach was hurting.

Moral of the story is never accept a drink from a stranger. Obviously, poor Rey Rey had no choice. Hope you feel better cuz.
