    am I the only one that hadn't heard of billabong?????

    man, I must be getting old, read in the paper - the number 1 brand rated by the teens and the tweens is billabong, and honeslty I hadn't heard of that brand before reading that article ;(

                                                                                                                                                  While we are on the topic of clothing, anyone notice how the styles in recent years have reflected recent decades? They are quickly touching on past trends in the order they happened over the past 30 years.

                                                                                                                                                  Right now they seem to be at the early to mid-80's (see those checkered shorts posted above as an example). Before that we saw toned down mullets (Horatio Sanz on SNL even had one briefly), popped collars, boot cut jeans (small versions of bell bottoms?), etc... It really is going right in the order it was all popular in the past.
