guess it depends on the box

at my host:

8 gig ddr2 ram
dual xeon 3.6
400 gig hd
100mbps burstable

that will run you $3208

but your bare bones system

512mb ddr
p4 2.4 gighz
80 gig hd
100mbps burstable

that will run you $2375
