That was so you'd put out. Now everytime I hum that sweet tune in your ear you'll get all wet.

Ruin is good, I like Vigil a lot. Check out http://www.lambofgod.tv, they have some samples off their new album on there.

Yeah, I was a little letdown by SLAYER, but after having seen them 20something times, I guess there was bound to be an off show...they just seemed tired and going through the motions while Lamb Of God and Mastadon tore it up (I was running late and missed Thine Eyes Bleed and Children Of Bodom)

Another "new" band I'm really digging lately and even moreso after having seen them with GWAR and Cannibal Corpse on the Sounds Of The Underground Tour is Trivium. They have an early Metallica/80's Bay Area Thrash vibe and are actually "musical" in additon to the typical growling/howling/yelling stuff (not that I mind that stuff, but it's nice to hear something a little fresher)

I hated Mastadon, in fact I played Tetris on my cell phone during half of their set, and took a nap for the other half.

I missed Thine Eyes Bleed because I got there late too.

Children of Bodom kicked serious fucking ass.

I like all kinds, when I make a CD it'll go from like Tom Jones to Slayer to Elvis to Tom Petty to The Beatles and so on.

As far as metal bands, Lamb of God and Devildriver are probably my favorites and the only "newer" bands I like. I like a lot of older shit, like Slayer, Pantera, Deicide, Burn the Priest (which is really Lamb of God before they got really big), Black Sabbath, etc.

If you're a musician (espescially a drummer) and like metal you should definately check out "Killadelphia" by Lamb of God, its amazing.

Yeah I hear you, Lamb of God just announced that they are going to be on Gigantour with Megadeth, which will be incredible, because I'll always be a huge fan of the old stuff.

Was it at the recently held Ozzfest party? Anyway, I haven't heard any of their songs yet.
