a domain name alone means nothing...
if you don't have a a good and known site on it with good content and you don't have bookmarkes, the domain name is worth shit... Bookmarkers and a good site takes years to build. A domain name alone is UTTER SHIT. If you have a well knwon site on f489yff3.com it will make 100 times more money than a new site on production.com
Domain names alone means absolutelly nothing. We are in 2006, not in 1998.
production.com has less than 500 type ins per day, which means it is worth 100 dollars at most..
after spending 50k+ on it, you need to work your ass off and invest thousands and thousands to have a little traffic.
And if some stupid ignorant quote me saying "you know shit about domain names" then have the decency to argument why you think so.
I already argumented above why the domain name is worth shit.
Anyone who buys this domain, and build a site there, and leaves it that way, without investing shit on it, will make less than 500 dollars per month. I bet you money if you want, that you will make less than 500 dollars if you don't invest money on it.
And if you invest to drive traffic to it, then you will make money, but you will spend a lot in the investment and you will have no profit.
Now come on, quote me.. but be sure to argument why you think so.
