don't do it, that's the old model IS, so even if you get it cheap, it will depreciate more since there is a new body style out that looks NOTHING like the old one.

get the new IS350 or 250, it's nice

Very nice car....

But I would personaly go for BMW 3xxx or even M3 (0-100 km/h in 5,2 sec).
Lexus IS300 and BMW3 are pretty similar, in fact Lexus is jap. copy of BMW.

And if you have a some more cash to spent (waste) then go for
BMW 645i (5,6 seconds for 0-100km/h)

I agree with Drinkinghard.

That Pontiac is kinda hot too.

As a former DJ myself I'd say both of those fit the profile better than the IS 300.

Lexus is great, safe, efficient, looks ok, top quality...BUT, if you like or better said, love to drive, get a BMW. No other car can offer you as much fun in the price range.
