I have an X40 that I keep around for guess or when I need to use a windows machine. I got the extended batteries for it too. It's pretty neat, if you can deal with it running windows. It feels more like a toy them a tools though.

small are not good. My friend has - Sony Vaio. Not very happy with it. And imagine your fingers on sucha small keyboard.

I have a T42 as my main computer, but I was thinking of getting the X40 for trips.

I have the Sony Vaio 12.5 .. it's great ..... I thought the small screen would suck but it's so sharp that I don't mind the size

I travel an ok amount all over the southern USA, but never usually by air travel. Anyways I would much rather be able to see what the fuck I'm working on and have it weigh a few extra pounds than stare at a tiny screen for hours on end. And yeah, I hate the jewrats.
