I have 0 debt.. but I also have a pretty cheap lifestyle for the money I make. I'd only loan money for a house or a car. I dont buy a new tv or travel unless the money is in my account. Lucky for me the money is usually there :upsidedow
Other than a car zero debit.. normally I'd never buy a car I couldn't pay cash for but this one was more about credit.
i have no debts just a mortgage on my second house so that would not really count. i have no credit cards all i use is my visa debt card.
lol
mortgages, credit cards, car payments, im thinking about adding a new boat payment next year... keep trading shit in man.. |
No mortgage, no unpaid creditcards, no unpaid business invoices, no studentloans, nothing bought on partial-payments or anything else.
The money in the bank is mine, all mine. |
Aside from mortgage I have no debt right now. My student loan was the largest non-mortgage debt I've assumed.
No debt, nada
zero debt here too
nah I don't have any debts, people owe me money!
no debts
however having debts is not so bad if for exmple you make an investment and take from the bank! |
50.........
I have no debt at all
I have roughly $10k in debt not counting the $17k I owe the government for taxes.
I have to stop putting myself in debt. what I owe may not seem like a lot, but with the drop in my income this debt is killer, I'm working on fixing that though.
I have student loans that I havn't completly paid off, but that's about it.

100% debt free for both me and my business.
WG |
I have little "debt". But I have millions in mortages, etc while my other $ is working for me. Smart $.
Your pool is kinda missleading. Had to read it twice
around 100k USD loan. but its not a big problem for me, as i have invested it properly, and i am close to make a 200k back on this loan.
I have ZERO debt. I cleaned up all debt and tore up all credit cards (except 1 for online purchases) when I left for the Philippines in 2003. Why? Because I had around 80K gradschool/prof school debt after I graduated. It sucks having such a big nasty cloud hanging over you. So thanks to the adult webmaster biz, I started clearing out debt with those fat ARS checks.
Debt free, IMHO, is the way to go. That way you completely OWN all your assets. Of course, there are SOME GOOD REASONS to go into debt see: http://webmasterlabor.com/articles/credit.html Regardless, I like the freedom of having no debt. Unless I can buy something with cash, I consider it unaffordable. Next step: Getting more insurance (life and health) as a way to protect assets. |
no debts here, just saving as much and investing as much as Ican.
Rule #1 ALWAYS keep at least 6 months worth cash as a reserve for emergencies. |
My car and my house are my only debts.

No credit for me I dont like to loan money from banks
unless it is realestate investing |
Zero here. I have a mortgage and a leased car but I have the cash in the bank to pay both off - just using it to buy more RE instead. I have about 10+ credit cards for the rewards but they are PIF every month.
the only debt i have is my credit card which gets paid off once a month. i have a mortgage for about 65% of the house im moving into is worth, and i own my house im living in now and a rental house free and clear. my rule is if you cant afford to buy something cash, dont buy it... with the exception of investments.
have zero debt
don't believe in credit , i believe that if i can't pay for it by cash then i don't want the item , i have a debit card linked to the visa network which only allows me to spend the cash that is in my bank account don't have a mortgage , renting works out to be much cheaper and money saved can be invested into other interests |
Zero debt right now, but leveraging credit got me here. Bought houses, paid them off, bought more, now paid more off....it's a never ending cycle....Plus being out of debt completely is really unAmerican!
debtfree baby .. had to sell my 4runner when I left school to pay off the balance, was worth drivin an old benz around for a couple months to be debt free. guess I owe Baauw for showing me the light and gettin me out to P.I.
I have 5 figures in student loan debt. One credit card with 0 balance. But I am getting ready to buy a new car.

cc's paid for, car paid for, but plenty of mortgage on the condo. :)
I've got roughly $60k in debt and my goal is to make it to $100k by the end of the year. Debt is a good gauge for just how much fun I had that year. Its not literal debt since I've got a couple hundred K in savings, but it is sitting on a credit card.
*edit* Purposely flippant response... if I reach 100k debt by the end of the year, I'll probably consider chewing on the end of a double-barrel. |
The interest on my credit card is at 8%, 7% for my credit margin and 5.2% on my multiplex. Why would I want to pay it off when the interest are so low and I can make more money investing it elsewhere!
I've also got another 8K on a credit card at 30%.... how smart is that?
Zero debt here. :winkwink:
