I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to hit 20k but there's not enough interesting threads and I am having "thread starter's block" right now.

What is even more sad is that people care about what their post count is in the first place. If you care that much about how many post you made, you must not have a lot of stuff to be proud about, like making money, success, etc...

if making it to 10,000 or 50,000 post is high on your "to do" list or accomplishments in life list, then you are really sad.

If i ever make it to 10K I am going to ask to have my post count deleted and start back over at 0. I think the more post you have the less credible it makes you look. Especially when you get into the 5 digits.

And I can't stand even more when people feel the need to announce their post count. get a fucking life.

Actually, I think it is worse for someone who makes the post themselves, they are wasting their time to post about nonesense to run up their post count, like it matters. At lease the bot they have working for them is not wasting any of their time. Both ways are pathetic.

I've never really cared much about my post count ...that's what makes it funny to me. I did want to hit 10k just for fun ..be green ..and i have a big announcement coming that i thought would go well with the 10k thread ... it's all about promo ..not my post count is bigger then yours ... for some reason when you post "10K and big news about mobbucks" you get more views and replies then "big news about Mobbucks" not sure why but that's the way it works around here ... I have shit to promote and if that's an advantage I'll use it. if someone thinks i used a post bot because i fucked around for an hour and made 30 posts that said something silly ....let them think that ...i don't give a fuck .. i think if they are that worried about it they are the sad ones and need to get a life ... it's a fucking board ..a tool to promote shit ... get over it.

IMO the only "tools" are the people on here that care about their post count.

Sigwhores and worthless posting is what hurts this messageboard. If people cut out the bullshit post and all the post count announcements the business related threads would be a lot easier to find.

if you feel the need to announce your post count with your new promo then your new promo must not be too exciting. you couldn't just say what it is with out the nonsense of " I made it to 10K here is my big announcement.... "

I am not really singling you out, i am talking in general. from the post whores to the idiots who post " 500 post and pic " or " 2300 post and a joke" that is just as bad as the stupid " Sig spot" post.

I'm not disagreeing with you ... i wish there was a lot more biz threads and it didn't work the way it does ...but I can't change the fact that this board has more surfers and Sig whores then webmasters. sometimes you have to play the game a bit. the last few weeks the board has really sucked and as a result i just started posting bullshit .. i was lazy and killing time before i started my day .. that hardly makes me a Sig whore or a bot. at least i had a few threads to post in as a result. as for the announcement ...it's more for me ..i'm excited about something. My promos stand alone I don't need a post# thread to make them exciting.
