I'm sure if people have the money to spend on Hun advertising, they've done the research on what converts best in the simple, versus the flashy rerun shit.

I posted what I thought to be a shitty design and not only did it get listed right away, it actaully converted very well. Weird, but if it works, it works :thumbsup

i NEVER hear of someone who isn't computer savvy come to me and say "HOLY SHIT, DID YOU SEE THE DESIGN OF WIMP.COM?!?! FUCKING AWESOME!!" but i did see "HOLY HELL, WIMP HAS ALOT OF GOOD VIDEOS!!"

No, not necessarily. Tracking hosted galleries is one of the most important keys for programs because it helps find out which ones convert, obviously. But what the numbers show is odd because galleries you think would suck because they are uglier than anything convert better than a jazzy gallery. It also depends on where the galleries are going ... it's a game of playing with traffic and galleries. I know people that think after one gallery doing bad that thehun's traffic isn't worth it, that's not true ... gotta learn to work the traffic!

I havent submitted there since '04 when i had a free voyeur site. Even back then, the mediocre ones that I would just throw together would be the ones to always get a listing :2 cents:

Take a look at amazon and google and countless other major sites.

same reason. simple works. in most everything, not just adult internet.

so the site loads very quickly.. as I said many times, this is very important.

Thanks - i never actually noticed that before! I had thought in the back of my head that surely my gallery wasn't that bad, and this goes some way to explain it. Do you know roughly how long it takes for a hun listing to come through?
