I never understood why people brag about how much they pay in taxes. That just means your accountant sucks.

$41K = $3.4K per month... You're probably right, I'm sure some here don't make that.

I bet most of it is social security as well. I get blasted every year on SS Taxes. I just formed an S corp to help reduce that immensely.

yeah.. being an independent contractor does suck on paying SS... that is why it is sometimes nice to work for someone who pays a portion of that for you... luckily you only have to pay SS tax on your first $90K

Well you dont need a high price accountant to get out of it. Form an S corp and take a small salary. You only pay SS taxes on the salary.

If you aren't paying ANY SS Taxes I would love to find out the loop hole around that.

do you people think I'm stupid or something?

I've been doing this shit for years. I pay my accountant a ridiculous amount of money..... but they SAVE me 5 times that amount.
I'm not making shit up here..... this is fact. And if you're getting fucked on your taxes, perhaps it's time you did some shopping for a new accountant.

I'm certainly not about to lay out my books here for the last 10 years... but I can tell you, they're legal.

you can also set up a SEP and contribute over $40K a year to it.. via this scorp method.. knock down that AGI to $140K.. and less taxes..

It's nicer not to pay *any* taxes

Last time I ever paid taxes, it sure as hell was nothing to brag about and cured that by shipping out to a no-tax regime, - and never paid a dime since.

There is a level all that tax shit has to stop.

PS... And the is no need to pay an accountant a dime to "save" on paying!

I dont' think anyone is calling anyone names.. just stating tax facts.. you cannot NOT pay into Social Security..... if your guy found some way to avoid this.. it could come back to kick ya in the ass later on if you were to get audited...

think about it.. if it was possible no one would still be paying into SS .. lol

Taxes are so unfair. The more you make the more you pay. There should be a nice tax break for anyone in porn. I mean come on we are trying to provide a service arent all the men that buy this stuff happier because of us. I woudl say that is community service

I was up in that area at one time, but I found out that I needed a business car, an office that I haven't been in in more then 2 months, a second business (breeding horses).. you run the second business as a hobby business and not as a second entity, that way it reduces your personal taxes, since my corporation pays no taxes and I only pay taxes on my personal income, finding ways to reduce the personal taxes is hard, but with some creativity its posible to get it down and keep more of your own money.
