Okay, should I give the long or short version? lol.

I started in mainstream, I still have a few hundred mainstream pages that do nicely with SE traffic. When I moved into the adult biz I started just as a freesite / gallery builder. Then opened a few tgps and I also review for some bigger tgps. I've got a network of blogs, SEO pages, etc. I'm a decent webdesigner, but only design my own projects. I've tried to learn as many aspects of the biz as possible.

Currently working for DirtyDeesDollars.com getting their sites up to speed, getting new affiliates in, promotion, and also helping to develop new sites for them.

TGP's and search engine molesting.. is what I do now, but with the new regulations I may get into supplying tools for webmasters rather than doing the webmastering.

ok, here's mine

Started in 97. At that time I didn't know anything about anything.. Didn't know how to make a simple web page with text like "Hello" on it, didn't know anything about getting traffic, had no clue how to upload a website to a server and the list goes on. So, I got into this business not knowing a damn thing. So I started to learn how to build website (not good ones mind you), learned that I could get traffic from tgps so I started building shitty galleries and submitting them to a list of tgpswithout paying attention to rules.. I learned quickly that there were things I shouldn't be doing.. Anyway, I stuck with the TGP thing for a couple years than I started building free sites. later one (1999) I started my own tgp (http://www.youngchickz.com). At that time it was easy to get traffic so it was getting quite a bit till I lost my hosting. when I got it back the traffic was almost non existant and still is to this day since I don't have the patience to increase traffic.

I kept doing the tgp and free site thing and wasn't doing to bad, but I wasn't happy. in 2001 I started promoting ifriends a lot more and now I was making an easy $1500 to $3000 a week, every week. Now I was happy. 2002 came and shit hit the fan. Sales with Ifriends died pretty much completely and stupid me didn't save any of the $ that I made the previous year. I spent it all like a retard.. So now I tried other sponsors so I could make money again, but nothing was working out. A little later I lost my dedicated hosting due to not beeing able to pay.

after that I was worried because now I had no hosting and no money.. How the fuck would I make money now? Someone in the industry offered me hosting in return for some work. So I took it. BUT, that eventually came to a stop so once again I had no hosting. Still broke and without hosting I started slacking due to having no more motivation. I didn't want to quit though. So I gave it some time and started hosting some of my domains with sponsors that offered free hosting. Ok, so I was making a little bit of money, but nothing to be able to live.

fast forward to now.. I'm still in the same boat only more broke.. haha.. I'm trying to fix that, no luck yet, but it'll come.

Also, I don't remember which year it was I worked for CE building free sites.

So, in short, I mainly do the following

TGP
MGP
Free sites

So yep, I'm like most of the others that the more successful call useless gallery builders/submitters. I guess in a sense, with the lack of success I have at this point you can say I'm uselss, but that's life.

I'm kind of kicking myself in the ass since I used to own trueloveonline.com and pretty much gave it away just for some hosting. I could have made something big from that domain I bet

How do you think your life would be different if you hadn't started working in this biz in 1997, but only got the opportunity to start in, say, 2000 or 2002?

Uh, why? The domain doesn't make the site. If you think you could have made "something big" from TrueLoveOnline.com (which is an average domain, by the way) then you can make "something big" from any decent domain.

We had started a free site for my wife to get people to go to her ifriends camshows. Then we went pay a year later, decided to only use the first years money the site made for equipment upgrades and classes. During this time I did business Dev for a publicly traded dotcom. Then one day I got the call its time to come home. That was over 4 yrs ago , we have three pay sites. :)

I have a successful career as an software developer in mainstream with a publically-traded company and shitloads of stock options. Hopefully, I will cashout in a big way in the next year. Been running a medium sized surfer forum for 3 years as a hobby and opened a couple TGPs last year. Don't have much interest in adult right now since it seems to be floundering big time and can't get its shit together as an industry, but I still enjoy posting here for whatever reason.

Initially, Webmasterlabor.Com specialized in TGP/MGP and Link list submissions. We did $5 submissions for manual submissions to 200+ TGP sites. We also did reviews and gallery descriptions. Almost at the same time, Webmasterlabor.com also branched out into differing mainstream ventures. By April/May 2005 Webmasterlabor.Com stopped offering adult webmaster services and now focuses exclusively on mainstream services.

Started in April 2006 with 10 free sites after about 5 years of just reading, buying domains, experimenting. I do everything myself and learned by doing. July so far I avg 5 sales a day with 14 sponsors hand picked. Avg profit $80 day. Not getting rich but not bad doing nothing but checking my stats daily and updating about once a month.
