I am competing directly with classmates.com, I just used it as an example to make my point. Designers opten inquire the function of the site, it better helps them see it to design.

However, if I wanted to compete against classmates.com, I would. Their site has serious issues and their is little value for membership. The big guys can get knocked of of contention too - it happens all the time. Look at Worthlorth, WinDixie, GM, Ford, Enron, American Moters, Auther Anderson, governments, and many, many more. There is a huge market out there, everyone is fair game. Big companies do not fall overnight, and small biusiness do not gain market share overnight, it takes time. However, if you create the right biz plan, deliver a better product, market it corectly, and just as important deliver a product that people to spend their money with you and not your competition - then your on the correct path to compete with anyone, large or small.

Anyway - I am not overreaching, just used it as an example. Perhaps I can get your openion before I publish on GFY in the future. You must be an expert in writing.

yeah, there are hundreds of thousands of schools all over the world and the market is always growing -- so many graduates every year.

also his domain is just right and easy to remember. I would'nt mind joining the site myself and build my own network of old friends and classmates from my alma mater.

Nice catch, I have seen the logo he used in the bottom of the three somewheree before too. I cannot put my fingere on it, but I know it is used by a lager corporation.

Yea it's a joke because I couldn't link directly to any pictures. So I figured I'd just mess around. When I create logos it's usually working with the recipient, getting their input, and designing accordingly. Picking a color scheme, tag line, and overall look and feel, then designing something. I usually do presence packages like full blown logo, stationary, letterheads, business cards, shirts, and stuff of that nature.
