Since I'm the local Florida Keys resident, I will play ambassador to Internext. I've been coordinating with several different groups on spending the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after the show in Key West. It seems so many people are talking to me about going that I might as well announce it to everyone on GFY.
If you've gotten your ass to Florida you might as well get a real taste of the REAL paradise instead thinking its just the pool and beach behind the Westin.
I am only going to promote this event but I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING YOU TO KEY WEST OR BACK TO THE APPROPRIATE AIRPORT!
Transportation - Key West is a 3.5 hr drive from Ft. Lauderdale (depending on how you drive). To come down, rent an SUV and split the costs with your group. My car is full. You can fly home out of the Key West Airport or you will have to drive back to the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale Airports.
Hotels - I'm suggesting only 2 that I use. There are a shitload on the Island if you want to do your own research. Both are conveniently located on Duval Street where you will be spending most of your time and both a short walking distance to the killer bars (walking is ok since there are bars and restaurants everywhere in between plus you can drink on the streets). There is also a Hyatt and Hilton close by if you want to spend your points, but I wouldn't suggest spending the cash.

The only think I am sponsoring is the Monday Snorkeling trip and "fly by the seat of my pants" event coordination. Everything is pay as you go although I can get the best local rates on everything. If you are interested in sponsoring anything then let me know and I can throw some approximate costs at you.

. You know you're my #1 Event Planner! All this was informal and last minute. It just seemed that we could really maximize the fun of everyone being there if I could add a little organization and direction. I think of it as an Anti-Show since everyone has been so burned out lately.
