It's good stuff, but it tastes like cough syrup the first time you have it.

I don't know about it not being stronger than coffee though - i mean, it depends on how strong you make your coffee, how much milk you add and so on. All i know is that Red Bull is 32mg caffeine per 100 mg (32% caffeine).

I was drinking Rockstar every day in the states.

Red Bull and all the other energy drinks have other chemicals besides caffeine that enhance the 'tweaked out' feeling. Taurine, Ginsing etc, basically you get a caffine rush, then the other chemicals actually increase your bodies ability to process oxygen, hence more energy. At least thats what someone told me, who knows about those sorts of things:P SOunds reasonable

And thats true mate, but the synthetic caffeine present in a Red Bull can is alot higher than the one you get from a normal coffee

I've never drank a redbull in my life

Redbull rocks
damn stuff has 80 mg caffine in it about the same as a cup of coffee which when brewed has between 80 and 135 mg caffine. I don't usually drink coffee, so I get a bit of a buzz from it.
The 1000mg of Taurine helps your body regulate its temp, not get to cold or to hot.
in summer I sweat like niagra falls so drinking a few cans of redbull daily helps me not sweat as much and for some reason it helps keep the inflamation in my neck muscle tissue down, hence less pain = more work :)
other than that Redbull is really nothing special

it was the same with me, after about two weeks red bull+coffee marathon i was in hospital :)) now i don't drink coffee at all and no red bull, damn red bull taste good :disgust
