Its good for remote assistance through firewalls and routers, password , encryption to remote hardware....but doing alot of computer techie work im really not happy with any Symantec program as they have had many issues in the past

I gotta tell you, I'm using it for basically the same reason you are (I assume)and I tried all of them, logmein.com seems to be the easiest to set up, never fails, never locks up, no problems at all. And fast too.

why not use remote desktop that comes with winxp it has always been reliable for me.
That's what I was gonna say. Remote desktop gives you full control over everything and you don't need any extra software. PCAnywhere was a good program back before windows had it's own stuff, but now it's just overhead and one more security risk.

mstsc or remote desktop first if win>win
vnc as a 2ndary alternative (www.realvnc.com) or win>linux
tb2 blows, unless you need to access a mac, but now there is osxvnc, which is alt 1 for mac's
