Which one is the best? I was thinking about getting the PS2 there's a lot of games out for it when compared to the XBOX and Game Cube.
I used to play the old Nintendo all the time games like Zelda and Mario Bros where my favorites if i want to play those now I'd have to get a Game Cube right? Is there any game for the PS2 that's kinda like those two?

Throw away your social life, your family life, and any semblance of a work ethic and get an xbox...

Both the PS2 and Xbox are excellent units. With the price reductions that took place, I would consider buying them both as they both offer feautures the other doesnt have. If you are on a budget, then the PS2 is the better bet in terms of games available.

I would go with the xbox since there is a high speed internet adapter for it. Multiplay/Online gaming rules over anything else....

I dig the PS2 myself.
I got it because i like GT3, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Final Fantasy X. GTA3 was just a bonus fun game. As far as software on the x-box... I see.... halo, and.... nothing. Superior processing whatever, remember N64 Vs. Playstation 1 back in the day. N64 sure had 4X the processing power, but sure didn't have software worth playing IMO. Big reason why it didn't go very far, and sony quickly took over the console market. Also depends on what kind of games you are into of course. One sweet thing about the X-box, is that it supports HDtvs. Smart Microsoft! If you like the four games listed above, i vote for Ps2. |

I own all 3 and like the xbox the best, by far. The graphics on it are really amazing. And you dont have to buy stupid memory cards. I save all my games on the hard drive, plus copied some music cd's on it and havent made a dent in the space. its sweet.

If you're thinking of getting the GC, get the Panasonic Q if you want it to be able to play DVD's like the PS2.
