    Billing Company?

Well the age old question. What billing company as an affiliate would you recommend? My partner and I will be launching our paysite soon but still are unsure with what company to go with. Originally we thought ccbill as the support is great and its easy for webmasters to signup and promote. Lately lots of webmasters are complaining about ratios. Does it really have anything to do with the biller? What do you recommend us to use from an affiliates perspective and from a paysite operaters perspective? Thanks.

Ratios aren't to do with ccbill, its how well the sites convert and advertising.

As an affiliate I like CCBill for ease of use, I also like Globill as their checks are always pay even if you only made a cent so whenI only promote a site via a text link and don't pimp it hard I know i can still expect a weekly check.

If I was to ever start a paysite though I'd use CCBill.

I've always used CCbill and I wholeheartedly recommend them to webmasters all the time. You simply can't beat their service and support! Evey billing company does it's share of scrubbing and I am sure that there are people that would complain about each and every one of them. Ultimately, proper fraud control makes you more money then letting everything through the floodgates.

Want to talk about it? Feel free to call me toll free or ICQ me.

I wanted to buy content and pay through CCbill once. My CC got declined without a reason given.

            "Your creditcard has been declined".

Thats it. I couldnt buy it. My cc is fully legit and ok and it had enough credit on it. After trying it a few times, i stoped trying and i waited on my PayPal code. When i got that one, i tried one more time with CCbill and it still didnt work. Finally i paid with PayPal.

I've heard this more often. I hear that CCbill (and maybe others too?) just dont accept a lot of cards, for some odd reason. This will end up in bad signup ratios.

Anybody knows more about this point?

I tried to enter my paysite with my girlfriends Credit Card - didn't work (ccbill)
I used my credit card - it worked.
After I went to the Admin area for my ccbill account and I refunded the money (my money) back to my credit card.
Now I can't use this credit card in ANY ccbill partner - it has been flaged or something...

I would recommend having 2 processors up. You will figure out soon who you want as primary and who you want as secondary. The 3 main ones people use are
                Epoch/Paycom www.epochsystems.com
                Ibill www.ibill.com
                and CCBill www.ccbill.com

Jettis www.jettis.com is getting stronger lately. If you use 2 of those 4, you will be happy with the results.

Am not 100% sure.. but if you ever do a charge back on ANYTHING
I think you card gets flagged.. Not a refund a charge back.

Am sure Kimmy knows... As she must have gone over it 20 times on this board alone.

Yeah I know for the chargeback.
But that was a refund: I purchased in my paysite to test and after I went to the admin area and canceled the purchase

                    anyways....

Check out the poll here that I started last week:
                            http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=63062

I started it after Jettis won't let me though, but ccbill and ibill do. It is interesting how many webmasters do get scrubbed.
