Was it prebilling based on what you are assumed to spend?

no, their new system marked a campaign inactive. by accident, i must have left 2 keywords at $1 per click while trying to figure out their new system. It ran up $1500 in charges on a keyword i normally paid 9 cents per click for..

I already put in a claim with AMEX, refusing this payment. Waiting on Google response.

you can't dispute those charges. if you bid a dollar they can charge you up to a dollar per click, as long as the total charges don't go above the budget set in your account.

I once bid $120 just to see if they would charge me that.

They did.

TWICE.

funny, but if you chargeback google - you get banned from opening an account, ever.

one of my clients accidentally disputed google when their card got stolen.. they shut their account down within like 48 hours.. had to fax over * paperwork and climb way up the ladder to get permission to reinstate their account
