I turned off my AC two weeks ago and then it rocketed to very 100 each day since then. I have stuck to my guns though and have not turned on the AC.

My office is in the basement so it stays pretty cool down here.

your mom is nuts - i couldn't handle life without A/C - yeah the electricity bills
are bad but i balance it out - in the winter I use the furnace as little as possible - 68 degrees Fahrenheit year round is what i like. my dad was like your mom - what kind of nobility is there is sweating indoors? if it's a money thing i can understand it but alot of older people turn into some kind of character issue.

Temp is just over 70 at 12.30am and prob around 80 during the day. It's "rainy season" so going to be a few degrees colder than normal. No need for either AC or fans.
