968 was $40-$52k not 89k

968 it cost around 10k-15k today, so yeah not really showoff:-)

the total price of that car was 140,000 DM which is 70,000 Euro which is according to todays exchange rate $89,000. a new Boxster S fully equipped is about 60,000 Euro

i know that cars were always a lot cheaper in the US due to the good exchange rate at those times - maybe that's the thing. but at that time the 968 cost about the same as the 964 Carrera 2 - at least in Germany

and that car is 13 years old and i could sell it for about 15,000 Euro - which i won't cause it's a fucking awesome ride and i really love it
