Do you need a special phone to use VONAGE?

I believe you can use your cordless, they provide you a box that hooks to your normal phone and you use it that way I think... connected into your broadband line..

I can't speak for vonage but for our VOIP provider they give us a little box where the internet goes in and you can plug phone lines into it. So we just use normal phones

we took the box they gave us, hooked it into the broadband, then ran that into our home phone line junction box....and now we have vonage on all phones in our house
