Ok seriously, what's the deal with "thank you" threads? Not saying it's wrong or bad, just never was able to figure them out. Is it a marketing thing or something that I just don't get? If someone does something nice for me, I usually e-mail or ICQ them and thank them. Is the global thank you the hip thing to do nowadays and I'm just not hip anymore?
