it was $100 cheaper to fly to miami, and i got a non stop flight in vs a layover flying to Ft Lauderdale airport. There is 3 of us too. Not so much the money but i can't stand layovers. I rather a 30 min cab ride vs 2 hour layover and switching planes.

Last time i was there I thought it was only about a 30 min drive. Hell thanks for posting this, just got me thinking. We should rent a car at the airport, leave the lugage in it and spend some time in miami before driving the diplomat.

FYI - The reason I'm so vigilant in telling everyone this is that I let Brett do my booking on Orbitz for Xbiz. I drove my car from the Keys to the Miami Airport and hit the show. On they day I left Vegas, I was checking my flight times and I noticed a different airport code. Apparently I was flying back into Ft. Lauderdale instead of Miami... silly me, I assumed I was returning to the same airport where I left... so I had to do the shuttle thing. Brett's words were "man, I can't believe Orbitz did that to you". Yeah, it's that damn missing "Confirm Reservation" button again. :1orglaugh

Speaking of Lagwagon, the band will be performing that Friday night the 4th in downtown Ft. Lauderdale at a pretty cool indoor/outdoor venue called Revolution. Saw NOFX there and it was pretty awesome. You should probably let him know unless his nick is a complete coincidence :)
