I think the reason why you are getting the flaky ones is because of your budget, not saying that your cheap or anything but most of the good designers with good work ethic don't take jobs like that for that price. you pay for what you get...

I am sure that there is a good designer here that will take you up on your offer just to prove a point though.

I've often wondered the same thing. I've had to send my design work to a friend of a friend over in the Czech Republic because a lot of designers can't do what they claim.

Or I get the other shit like being lazy, those endless excuses about computer down, death in family (grandpa died 3 times in 6 months), or some of the other classics posted on here over the years.
