It depends on what type of fiction your friend is interested in (general or genre like science fiction, romance, etc.) Yahoo Groups has some good writer's groups to check out.
I have yet to find a GOOD writer's bbs... |

I'm a fairly good writer...mostly of cyber punk, post apocolyptic, erotic comic book storylines...but I'd liove to interact with other writers...
