Don't get me wrong here. I'm all in favour for some good rock music but I much
prefer to see good upcoming band that brings a high energy show and something new to the stage than a bunch of over the hill old guys that cling onto a bunch of hits they had in a gray past. Or alternatively if you want something really established but still in sync with this age.....you might try to send an email to the management of The Red Hot Chili Peppers I bet they are cheaper and I'll guarantee you their show will be a hell of a lot better than what the Guns and Roses could ever bring. I'm also sure that the Peppers wouldn't mind entertaining the porn crowd. They probably bring the old white sock out of the closet for their stage costume. :winkwink: |
GNR sucks now... Old School GNR rocked... Fuck that $2mil... Spend it on some newer up and coming talent that at least has its origional members in it..

I saw RHCP a few years back. Was really looking forward to it. In a word, they sucked. Some bands are just better in studio than live, like Fuel. |

Who, besides Sherie and Shannon, would be willing to spend money on seeing them? |
For 2 million it better be the mother of all shows.
|
I think for less than $200k we could have the largest gangbang in history, set records, invite every news agency in the area, AND get content. If you gave me tickets to a GNR show and the world's largest gangbang... guess where I'm going.

The Lineup: Axl Rose, of course on vocals Tommy Stinson on bass Robin Finck on lead guitar Richard Fortus on rhythm guitar Brain on drums Dizzy Reed on keys Chris Pittman on keys and effects Bumblefoot on guitar Izzy tours with them too. The rest of the original members are in Velvet Revolver now, and they come no where close to the show this band puts on. |
