England v the Argies

History can't tell them apart - we shall see tomorrow.

the data is in the form - played, Arg won, Eng won, drawn.

Total 13 4 4 5
World Cup 4 2 2 0

I think England will win.. Argentina just don't have anyone that really stands out above the rest anymore, and to be honest, the average skill of their team just isn't up to scratch with England's current team..

I agree entirely IF England play a lot better than the first game and they are very much capable of doing so.

I think I'm going to root for Argentina in this game because the people of that country have been hit pretty hard recently economically and they could definitly use a pick me up like a win over England would give them. BTW, where did that guy Roberto who used to post on here go, wasn't he from Argentina? Hope he didn't get screwed and have all his U.S. money seized by the government down there.

I think England will have to play very well to get a result. Better than they did against Sweden.

Just got the odds from the bookies. Seems England in 2-1 and Argies 11-10. Bookies will lose heavily if England win I think.

In this world cup I wouldn't be 100% sure about any game.

Spain played a very good second half and deserved the win in the end. That young guy bought on as a sub (can never remember non-english names) was stonking.

I disagree: Ortega, Simeone, Veron, Crespo, Batistuta (this one far from being clever, but does what matters, goals), they are all above average; besides, they have been playing together for a long time.

But, if support counts, there will be 150 million Brazilians supporting England today.

And it should have been 2 - 0. So close! Anything may happen yet but on 1st half performance we are by far the better side.
