I'll agree with you and candyflip - PC has it's idiot users too, but even here in Hollywood people look at my with big doe eyes when i say that a $10 hosting account will give them everything they get from .mac under a brandable domain name.
Plus, i've seen the render times on these MACs for video and it's sad that it's so slow. If i was running a dual or quad processor with 4-8 gigs of ram on a windows64 box the render times would be equally as good if not better.
I do have to say that MAC has a nice list of supporting equipment like Final Cut and Pro Tools, and please don't get me going on Avid for the PC (or MAC).
I think it says a lot that MAC is using an Intel chip now and can dual boot to windows or MAC. And I'm not saying that I would never buy a MAC, in fact i'm looking to buy the PowerBook Pro with an Intel core, but I lement over the thought of falling in love with the thing.
