UNIX GURU's I STILL need help with Zend Optimizer

I've gotten farther into the installation than ever before...here's where I'm stuck now...

Failed to determine your version of Apache PHP !
Setup will attempt to determine your PHP version from an executable.
Please enter the location of your php file [/usr/local/bin]:

Then winning answer gets free content!

Thanks Hoax! Try this from a unix prompt:

cd /
find ./ -name php

It should spit out the location to php. Use the directory it's located in when the zend optimizer asks you. ex: /usr/local/bin <br> I haven't looked at the install, but there may also be an option to specify your php version when you run the install.

nope...basically Zend wanted php-config copied in usr/local/bin/ as php...

I dunno why but it worked...I can now install Zend Optimizer on FreeBSD 4.5/PHP 4.2.1/Apache 1.3.22

I'm THA SHIT!

i wonder if it'd be possible to quantify the amount of time Zend will save you (through its optimization) vs. the install headaches. not that i haven't done the same things myself, but i gotta say there's something nice about simplicity (apache + php + nothin else = easy. )

You see part of the beauty of my current job is the learning...I get to basically learn here all day...I may have spent quite a bit of time installing this but I learned soooo much...not just about Zend but unix, php, all kinds of shit...

Design and marketing are skills I was practically born with...

But I would like to have some other skills to augment my personal marketablility...unix and programming would be sweet...

Things that I don't have to pay others to do are things I get paid to do...

Mike I guess I must've missed that post...but thanks and hey I'd love to pick your brain every now and again so contact me...
