IBILL sending out emails to affiliates about OTHER programs?!??

just got this from Kevin at IBILL

"Hi,

The following is information on an exciting new affiliate program iBill is offering through our new partner PillShop.com. You don't even have to be an iBill client to take part!! There is NO cost to you to place the PillShop banner on your website and best of all, for every person who places an order at their online pharmacy through your banner, you make $40. That's right, YOU make $40 per order!!

To join this program please link to:

http://www.pillshop.com/default.asp?inc=affiliatesignup

Once you sign-up, you will receive an email with all of the necessary information to place the banner on your website. The normal payout for PillShop affiliates is only $15 but they are offering $40 to people who sign-up through iBill. To ensure that you get paid out $40 PER ORDER, it is necessary to send an email to me at [email protected] with the following information:
Affiliate ID:
Name:
Current iBill Client: Y/N
iBill Master Account: if applicable

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Kind Regards,
Kevin

This is likely from IBILL. The reason I think this is that the Pillshop is the only Viagra site that IBILL has allowed. I believe that they also have some sort of revenue share with the company. There has been quite a bit of bad press on the online drugstores recently, and while IBILL is saying that this site and company checks out 100% legit, this site carries a certain level of risk. Since selling Viagra is not what we do, and even if we did channel some traffic towards it, the revenue would be tiny percentage of our gross, to us it doesnt make sense to add additional reasons for the govt to eyeball us. There are alot of ventures online that carry risk in the USA, everything from web900 to XXX material in the free area, but balancing risk vs reward in this case, it doesnt make sense to add drugs (or casinos) to our business model.

"There is NO cost to you to place the PillShop banner on your website"

woahhh.. that's revolutionary. what will these pioneers think of next?! paying webmasters for sales generated through the banner?

"and best of all, for every person who places an order at their online pharmacy through your banner, you make $40."

i'm in shock. i mean, i'm literally stunned. this could change the whole industry!
