It's a very good Sony mini-DV and DVCAM tape deck w/ firewire and analog inputs and outputs that works with both NTSC & PAL. I paid approx. $1700 for mine a few years ago. Great for heavy duty tape capture and backup and can handle the small mini-DV sized tapes or the larger 3 hour capacity DVCam tapes that I make masters for movies with.
