i used to be a smoker through college. it kind of trailed with me through my 20s. then i moved to california and i was suddenly in a place where you couldn't smoke in any public place. i was at first pretty pissed, because i liked to smoke when i was out at the bar. but then something funny happened. I stopped smoking. i realized that it was more habit than anything. now, yes, i really can't take the smell of cigarettes. i tolerate it, because i know what it's like to be a smoker, and yes, every once in a while i'd have one. but rarely. the non-smoking laws are GOOD for the population, not to mention the people that work in bars, clubs, restaurants etc. meh.

Smoking is the worst habit anyone can ever get into. You smell, you cough, you have yellow teeth and fnger nails, your clothes stink, your car stinks and your breath stinks! Your skin turns to leather and your hair begins to look lik straw.

I agree, this is the worst thing people can willing do to themselves. I can't believe how I see so many people driving around town smoking with the windows rolled down and it's 110 degrees outside! That for me would make me want to quick! Worse yet is the car full of kids and the guy has his windows rolled up smoking! Yeah like the a/c will blow the smoke to a better place lol

I agree these not the same as second hand smoke but to claim that all activities others engage in other than smoking dont affect your quality of life in is just plain ignorant.

As a non-smoker, I really don't care. It has to be really thick to bother me.

As for banning smoking in bars, (they do it in OR and WA) I think this is really stupid. You go into a bar expecting smoke. Don't like it, dont patronize.

It helps if you understand the law. The smoking is not banned for the patrons, its banned for the employees of that bar/restaurant. THey have bars you can smoke in, they are Owned and Operated by the same people, this means that every employee of the bar is also an owner.

If I ever end up back in the USA * gasp*, that is where I will hang my hat. I'm from Kentucky... you can imagine how much smoking goes on there. Many restaurants do not even have a NON smoking section. lol

Make sure you stay away from the Netherlands. They smoke weird "cigarettes" over there.
Further I think it is very gross when you are hoping that somebody gets cancer. Couldn't you be a bit more tolerant? After all you are in the porn bizz and I would expect a bit more open minded people there.

Wow nice :) My hubby is the same only i still get stuck buying cigs at the store. Which I hate doing but its worth it for me to stop they send him with the dam gas prices and the store being 20 minutes from the house lol
